This interest area provides the children with opportunities to do quiet activities alone or with another child, with a small group of peers or with an adult. This area of the classroom includes collectibles, manipulatives, puzzles, games, and other materials with relatively small pieces for counting, sorting and/or manipulating on a flat table top or floor surface.
