This is an area designed to inspire creative and imaginative play where children enjoy pretending to be someone or something different than themselves while making up actions and situations that fit the roles they choose to play.  Here, children deepen their understanding of the world and develop skills they will use throughout life. They engage in play that supports the social emotional, physical, language and literacy, and cognitive skills as well as use diverse materials that both celebrate and support their multicultural and multilingual backgrounds.
