The Counting Machine Counter counts the balls placed in the counting machine by the children upon entering the classroom. The boys place white balls into the machine and the girls place orange balls. The balls roll down the machine and into a scale at the bottom. The side buckets from the scale are removed and placed on a board in order to count # of boys, # of girls and how many friends present altogether.
